Most
of my life was in the mid-west, learning all the aspects of what it
takes to put on an machine art spectacle, including event production
and managment, lighting and staging design, and many styles of
performance, machine and fire art. I recently moved to the
Bay area where I was fortunate to work with many other
artists in these genres, furthering my knowledge and fueling a passion
for this mix of art and technology, fire and movement.
After
attending and participating in many events, spectacles, and shows I
found that
there was often something missing - Good audience sightlines and a
plot. We all love
to watch robots smash stuff. I just want to present a show that
offers
some context for the machine action.

| Foible's
Mench was written for Burning Man 07, but
was not granted, nor was it's stage - a muti-use performance area
with elevated audience. It has taken this long to find the right
venue
and group to put it together, hopefully all this hard work will pay off
and we can experience a wonderful combination of live music,
performance, machine and fire art. |
