Community Festival
1996-2002
Attendance
of 20k-30k
over 3 days, Staff of 10 year round, 150 during the
event. Free Music and Art festival,
non-profit, entirely volunteer run and volunteered performances, held
in a
downtown 40-acre park, with 5 stages, beer sales and a % of street-fare
venders
proceeds paying for it. Leave no trace and recycling are part of the
overall
theme and much time and money is used for the park and community
improvements.
Music, Art, Craft venders, and Food are all-local and participation is
juried by committee.
