9/20/03

I bought this from the Rice Paddy, to replace my SGA bike after being hit, 9/05/03.  Surprising little damage was done to the SGA bike but it did kill its motor and ultimately total the bike, insurance is moving slowly of course.

WOW! This is a ground up custom bike like no other you have seen in the USA. We took a bare CB900F frame and carefully, accurately adapted 1994 suspension, wheels and brakes to it. The first and most obvious change is the front and rear suspension. Carefully measuring went into welding on suspension linkage and bracing for the 1994 CBR600F2 rear end: swingarm linkage, shock, rear wheel, and rear disc and caliper. The front end was simpler, we bored the triple clamps for the F2 41mm forks and bolted them in. But we didn't stop there. The forks were rebuilt and revalved by lindemann engineering. The brakes were changed over to Ferodo oversize rotors and pads. This is a unique kit that was available for CBR600 F2 and has been discontinued. Stainless steel lines coated in protective plastic add to your braking feel and power.

The stock gauges are tucked away behind a SIDE Predator dual headlight fairing .

The engine was rebuilt . We had a 3 angle valve job done on the 16 valve head and 1000cc Wiseco pistons fitted into the freshly bored jugs. The clutch actuation was switched from cable to hydraulic (see pics below) so you will never be stranded by this beast of an engine busting a clutch cable.

The bike has many fine details like the expensive Raask rearsets, the polished aluminum custom made fuse box cover, tucked away VF 500 Interceptor taillight , 150MPH Speedo (only available on one year of DOHC Supersport models, Honda trivia anyone?) {1978}  Sprocket Specialist sprockets, cut down seat, and Pirelli radial tires
