I have proposed two projects for Burning Man 2005, they are, Fill's Foibles; A Machine-art Opera and the stage to present it on, PABAWEAZ
Short descriptions:
I want to create an area with seating (risers) where people can gather to view larger shows. The PABAWEAZ is such an amphitheatre, with bleachers overlooking a common burn blanket, in which to stage performances and other events that burn large art.
Fill's Foibles; A Machine-art Opera
“Fill’s Foibles” is a combination of performance/dance, machine arts, and live music to be performed at the Burning Man festival in 2005. Involving aspects of opera, modern dance, fire, and video projection, the show will present a loose narrative of birth, destruction, and rebirth. It is to be preformed on the PABAWEAZ Friday night.
