The
Sex,
Guns, and Alcohol, motorcycle is my favorite work. It runs as
well as it looks. It is a 1982 Yamaha Seca 750, stock except
for
the slightly more aggressive handlebars and 4into1 exhaust. |
| When
I
bought this bike in 2000 it was a step down from the XS1100 (its very
big brother), I was riding, but I could not justify so much motorcycle
for the around town commuting I usually did. |
 |
 |
It
came
with a horrible green paint job, and it ran well enough so I just left
it. During the first season of owning it many people asked me
if
it was an Army bike. |
| I
was able
to tune it up and found out it was rather spunky and quite the fun
ride. That winter I repainted it with the camouflage. |
 |
 |
Unfortunately
the day glow orange bunnies faded during the summer, so I repainted
them and used UV blocking auto body clear coat the next winter. |
| It
was my
daily ride to work, until getting hit broadside going to work 2 days
after returning from BM, 9/5/03. |

Currently
it is in the shop, getting the motor replaced and repaired, it will run
again and the paint job was hardly damaged. |
